TruMe is a kiosk with the goal of making access management easier. With the help of a mobile application, a visitor can authenticate his/her identity using their Adhaar Card information (Indian Identification Card). Inside a TruMe secure premise, a user receives a barcode on the application and enters the premise by scanning it. A fingerprint scanner is available for additional security.
By using TruMe at airports, offices, sports arenas etc. visitors can shave off hours of their precious time by avoiding long queues. Moreover, TruMe provides companies with a secure admin platform to help analyze and manage their visitor access.
In 2018 truMe redesigned their access management pods. They wanted their website to highlight the sleek aesthetic of the new devices. The visual design of the new website was created to position truMe as a technology company.
Through the written and visual content we focused on the aspects of technology and encryption that makes truMe a superior product. By dividing the content into ‘For Business’ and ‘For Users’ we wanted to clearly communicate the user and case specific advantages that truMe offers.
Enhancements to the mobile application had given truMe the opportunity to expand their user base to include residences and airports. We highlighted these use cases by including first-person stories on the use case section of their website. 3D images were created to illustrate the text and convey the effortlessness and merits of truMe.
